Who I Am

My interest in design started in a place I never expected, working behind the counter in a print and marketing department. Every day, I saw all kinds of projects come through: business cards, flyers, banners, custom stationery. What struck me wasn't just the variety, but how much design could completely change the way something was received. A simple sheet of paper could become something memorable and important when the right colors, typography, and layout were applied. That was the moment I realized I loved the process of design.

As I worked on more projects, I realized that great-looking design wasn't always enough. A project could look beautiful, but if the experience surrounding it didn't match, the impact was lost. That pushed me to expand beyond traditional design. I wanted to understand how visuals and user experience worked together, which led me into UX/UI design. From there, I became interested in full-stack development so I could see the bigger picture, not just creating designs that looked good, but also building systems and interfaces that function well in the spaces where people actually use them.

Over time, I've had the chance to work with clients in different industries: healthcare, nonprofits, wellness, and creative businesses. Each one taught me something new about combining creativity with strategy. I learned how to design projects that not only stand out visually but also solve real problems and create value for the people using them.

Today, I describe myself as a Creative Technologist because that's really what my work has become, a mix of design, technology, and strategy. I design intuitive interfaces, create cohesive digital experiences, and build systems that work as beautifully as they look. My approach always begins with understanding the client: their story, their audience, and the small details that make their brand unique.

I'm still learning, experimenting, and refining my skills every day. For me, design and technology are never static, they're about growth, problem-solving, and finding the right balance between creativity and function. That ongoing process is what keeps me inspired.
